The life cycle assessment considers all environmental impacts over the entire life cycle of the building. In addition to the energy consumption in operation, the production, use and end-of-life of the materials are also analyzed with regard to the following environmental effects:

  • Global Warming Potential (GWP)
  •  Ozone Layer Depletion Potential (ODP)
  • Photochemical Ozone Creation Potential (POCP)
  • Acidification Potential (AP)
  • Eutrophication Potential (EP)
  • Non-renewable primary energy demand (PEne)
  • Renewable primary energy demand (PEern) and share of renewable primary energy
  • Total primary energy (PEges)
  • Abiotic basic resource depletion potential (ADPelements)
  • Water consumption: Net use of fresh water (FW)
