Building Material Scout - the service platform for sustainable building products

An opaque and confusing multitude of product labels, building certificates and material declarations makes it almost impossible for building owners and planners to keep track of everything. Product manufacturers, on the other hand, are constantly confronted with requests for proof and declarations. In addition, the search for product-related BIM objects and life cycle assessment data has recently been added, which results in a further increase in complexity.

Our vision is to use the Building Material Scout to provide easy access to healthy, intelligent and sustainable materials and building products for all those involved in construction – financiers, builders, project developers, architects, planners, construction companies and operators. We are convinced that this will enable us to make a significant contribution to better construction quality.

The Building Material Scout evaluates and structures material-related information and thus facilitates the search for suitable materials and products. Predefined or individually configurable search masks make it possible to select the right materials – for example for green building certification. The Building Material Scout paves the way for future-oriented planning, construction and operation – not least by bundling all current information in one place.
