DGM - RAL Quality Mark Emission class

The DGM – RAL Quality Mark Emission Class is an emission label for furniture.
It is used to identify furniture that is particularly low in emissions and therefore has a lower impact on indoor air quality.
This quality mark is based on the strict guidelines of the RAL German Institute for Quality Assurance and Certification.

Award criteria for the DGM - RAL Quality Mark Emission class

The following guidelines must be complied with in order to have products certified with the DGM – RAL Quality Mark Emission Class:

  • DIN EN 16516 Construction products: Evaluation of the release of dangerous substances – Determination of emissions to indoor air

DGM - RAL Quality Mark Emission class: Certification body

To apply for certification of your products, you must write to the office of the Deutsche Gütegemein- schaft Möbel e. V., Friedrichstraße 13-15 in 90762 Fürth.
All products that you wish to have certified must be listed in the application.
A legally binding signed certificate of commitment must be enclosed.
You will find this at the bottom of this document in the appendix.
