Building Material Scout project coleman 10 awarded the DGNB Gold pre-certificate
With an overall degree of fulfillment of 71.6 %, the coleman 10 project was awarded the DGNB Gold pre-certificate in the new construction/office and administration building category. The office building is located close to Frankfurt Airport and offers individual office space for large and small companies. In addition to 5,250 m2 of rental space, the building has 67 bicycle parking spaces, 79 car parking spaces and e-charging stations. There is also an S-Bahn station in the immediate vicinity.
We are particularly pleased with this award as Building Material Scout is also involved in the project: all the construction companies involved and the site management use the BMS project tool for project documentation.
Building Material Scout project tool simplifies planning and sustainability certification
When a project is to be certified, the planning process often becomes more complex. With the digital product database and the stored product data and associated sustainability information, Building Material Scout helps to simplify the certification process for everyone involved. This is also the case with the coleman 10 project: the construction management team has access to all products that have already been tested and approved via the BMS project tool. In addition, the entire project team has an overview of the products used, their data sheets and approval in accordance with the desired certification, in this case DGNB. For this project, a large number of the trades involved also documented their products via the Building Material Scout and thus made the project-specific information accessible to the project team.
